About this project

As part of Marseille Provence 2013, Le Grand Atelier du Midi highlights 200 paintings representing the Midi in France in two exhibitions: one in Aix-en-Provence, in Musée Granet, the other in Marseille, in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Palais Longchamp.

The official application of the exhibition was co-designed and developed by our team in partnership with Rmn-GP and Orange. Its original concept invites the user to travel and discovery of 30 major works of the exhibition. Besides the access to complete information about the exhibition and the works, the application offers to geolocalize the point of view of each work so the user can follow the steps of the artist and go tho the very spots where the great painters chose to place their easel. He will then be able to take a picture of the point of view and share it in order to witness the transformation or preservation of the site and the interpretation of the artist.
