About this project

Applidium assisted Viacom International Media Networks France in the creation and implementation of the mobile application for iPhone and iPad Mon Nickelodeon Junior. It is the first educational TV Channel fully customizable by the parents.
Furthermore, the application is cross-device, since it’s available for the iPad, the iPhone, IP TVs and computers.

Mon Nickelodeon Junior offers the following features:

• Parents define themselves the programming according to the educational themes of the shows and to their child’s profile (name, sex and age). The channel adapts itself continually to each child’s preferences.
• The application enables to control the time spent watching the channel, and provides the parents with an activity report of what the children have learnt from the available educational topics (reasoning, memorization, creativity, respect…).
• Available for the iPad, the iPhone, computers and IP TVs, Mon Nickelodeon Junior enables every child to start watching an episode on his or her channel on the TV and to finish it on a tablet or on the computer. Moreover, two children of the same home can watch their customized channel on two different screens at once.

The application is available on the AppStore since July 2012.
