About us

If you’ve ever heard of Applidium, you’ll know we’re a team of experts specialized in designing and developing mobile applications : games, utilities, sports apps, news apps. We’re working on both the iOS and Android platforms, and we like experimenting with other less popular OSes.

Our activity is double-sided : on the one hand we publish our own applications, and on the other hand we have a consultancy activity where we leverage our expertise to help major organizations. We’re looking for curious people, fast learners, who have a solid background in computer science.

Job description

Software engineers at Applidium are facing a new technical challenge every day. Each application is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of a new area. Here are some projects that have been tackled by our engineers, and that aren’t mentionned anywhere else on this website:

• Designing a clustering system that gathers POIs on an interactive map depending on the zoom level
• Writing a hit-testing mechanism in GLSL
• Writing new transitions between the screens of an iPhone app (to replace the efficient yet boring ‘slide to the left’ animation)

Job qualification

You’re holding a MS or BS in Computer Science, and you’re considered somewhat of a hacker by your peers.

Required qualifications

• Solid knowledge of the C programming language
• Object-oriented programming feels natural to you
• Familiar with the UNIX environment

Qualifications that we’ll appreciate

• Being familiar with an Operating System’s architecture
• Knowing a scripting language
• Some background in UX design
• Being able to use Photoshop
